Special Forces camp "X-corn" outside the town of Hue.

The camp got under attack by small VC units during the night.

Morning in the Special Forces camp after the hard night.

On the morning the personal from the Special Forces camp was moved to Hue. On the way there they was ordered to secure a area that was infiltrated by VC and NVA troops during the night. They met heavy resistance and was able to push them out after heavy fighting and by help of USGI units from Hue.

US and ARVN troops finally secured the town but there was still one are just outside the town held by enemy units. It took long time before these units finally was eliminated.
