The 1st INF camp near FSB Thunder II alongside QL-13, also called the Thunder Road. This area was known by heavy VC activity.

Misson briefing.
It's gonna be a seek and destroy. Moving out at 10:00.

At 11:15, 2nd squad makes contact. Soon all squads of the platoon is involved in the fighting.

The VC had dig in and was to be roted out in close combat by grenades and hand to hand. Casualties in all three squads was high but att 14:00 the job was done. After almost 3 hours constant fighting the troops cold finaly rest.

Later the platoon is ordered to clear the town An-Hoc from enemy units. Not a easy task...

Finaly back in base.

Planing the night mission. After information from a informator in the fishing village two squads make a ambush. In the morning hours the catch is two vc KIA with one rocket. What the US troops don't know is that another two VCgot away with some equipment. Also after the confusion of fighting the americans leave the area in two separate groups leaving behind the 2nd Lt.

2nd Lt.Boone try to make it to the base on his own but another VC squad capture him. The next morning the VC try to take they POW out of the area but he US troops put an end to it.
